Our 7th chakra is our Crown Chakra which helps us connect with the cosmic consciousness and our higher self. This chakra begins developing in our mid-twenties and will only fully develop when our nervous system is ready for this type of connection. For some, this Chakra doesn't align until moments before our death in this lifetime. However, when properly aligned it helps to allow our earthy family to connect and welcome us into the afterlife.
