Our Chakra Systems

Root Chakra

Our Spiritual health and journey should always start at the Root Chakra. Our root chakra impacts the health of every chakra, as it is the base and foundation of our chakra systems. This chakra begins development immediately, with significant development happening in the first few months. This primary development continues till about five years old. The root chakra is tightly associated with our childhood experiences and plays a role in portraying our feelings about money, relationships, career, and stability. Even though most of this chakra’s development occurs during our early years, growth and alignment can occur throughout our lives through our spiritual practices.

 

  • Also known as Muladhara, Kundalini, First Chakra, and Earth.
  • Location- Base of Spine

  • Signs of imbalance: Psychological - Depression, Addiction, Eating Disorders, Paranoia, Hyperactivity, Fear, Frustration, Greed, feeling alienated, and a lack of confidence. Sacral Chakra

Our 2nd chakra is our Sacral Chakra which sits between the reproductive organs in the center of the lower abdomen and is known for its life force energy of creative potential. The Sacral Chakra helps guide our inspiration to be creative, increases our vitality, and improves sexual intimacy. Anything you bring into being in this life or manifest, such as a child, a new project or idea, leadership, or ways to serve others, is governed by the Sacral Chakra. The Sacral Chakra is believed to govern past or present sexual trauma, abuse, experiences, and medical procedures.

Our 3rd chakra is our Solar Plexus Chakra, associated with your ability to feel your sense of personal power. It is located two finger-widths above your navel (belly button) in what is known as the Powerhouse of the energy field, which is the energy center of confidence and power. Feelings of despair, apathy, and a lack of spiritual growth or moving ahead. Increased feelings of confusion and dissociation.

Brow Chakra (Third Eye)

Our 6th chakra is our Brown or Third Eye Chakra. This chakra works with our intuition, visions, and dreams. Our brow chakra works in developing our spiritual connection to the universe, self-knowledge, integration, enlightenment, and transformation

For some, this chakra doesn’t set right before our death in this lifetime, allowing our earthy family to connect and welcome us into the afterlife.
